The simple answer is yes there is. This time depends on a number of factors but the basis in England and Wales is 3 years from when then injury was sustained. This figure differs if it is in regard to children, criminal injury claims, if the client lacks the mental capacity and such.
For Clinical Negligence the time limit is slightly different. It is still 3 years from when the injury was sustained, or if the client didn’t know that there was an injury sustained, then the 3 year period begins when the client is aware of the injury.
